Busan Changgyeong, Jeju, and Southeast Region Preliminary Startup Package Joint Exchange Event Held

The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center) announced that it held the 2025 Preliminary Startup Package Jeju/Southeastern Region Joint Exchange Event 'Meet-up Talk! Talk!' in cooperation with the Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Centers at the Park Hyatt Busan Hotel on the 6th.

This event, attended by approximately 60 people including startups participating in the 2025 Preliminary Startup Package Project and officials from related organizations, was organized to share experiences in the startup process and promote cooperation and growth through networking with experts and officials.

Key programs included progress reports from each pre-startup package hosting organization, presentations on excellent startup case studies, a special lecture on 2026 Insights, and an elevator meetup. In particular, the special lecture by CEO Kim Jeong-hyeon of MBASS, who has experience from the pre-startup stage to early stage, leap forward, and TIPS, and the talk concert by excellent startup companies were evaluated as providing entrepreneurs with insight into future market changes.

Additionally, a "1-Minute Elevator Pitching" networking session was held, where startups presented their businesses and explored collaboration opportunities. Participants effectively promoted their startup ideas in a short period of time and explored the potential for practical collaboration.

The Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Centers plan to expand their collaborative programs and strengthen regional connections to support the continued growth of startups, thereby revitalizing the startup ecosystem. Meanwhile, the Pre-Startup Package is a government startup support program that provides commercialization funding, business model advancement, and prototype production support to aspiring entrepreneurs with technology-based startup ideas.
