Himpel CEO Kim Jeong-hwan wins the 2026 Korea Industrial Technology Association Technology Management Award in the CEO category.

Himpel, a specialized ventilation appliance company, announced on the 9th that CEO Kim Jeong-hwan received the '2026 Korea Industrial Technology Association Technology Management Award (CEO Category)' in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of industrial technology and the spread of a culture of technological innovation.

The awards ceremony was held at the '2026 Korea Industrial Technology Association Technology Management Awards Ceremony and 48th Regular General Meeting' held recently at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

The Korea Industrial Technology Association (KIT) Technology Management Award is presented by the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KIT) to a businessperson who has contributed to the development and diffusion of industrial technology based on technological competitiveness. The CEO category honors the CEO who has driven industrial growth and market expansion through a management strategy based on technological superiority.

CEO Kim Jeong-hwan has led the shift toward recognizing ventilation as a living infrastructure through continuous research and development in ventilation appliances. He has also expanded the business beyond the bathroom-centric ventilation fan market to encompass all indoor spaces, suggesting a new growth direction for the ventilation appliance industry.
