Trillion Labs Supports Additional Applications for the Ministry of Science and ICT's Independent AI Foundation Model Project

AI model startup Trillion Labs announced on the 13th that it has officially applied for the additional elite team competition for the 'Independent AI Foundation Model (Dokpamo)' construction project hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

Trillion Labs leads the "Super Gap AI Consortium," building partnerships across the entire industrial, research, and validation process by connecting large corporations, startups, and university labs. The consortium aims to develop and validate AI models that can be implemented in national industrial settings.

Consortium participants include GS Group 52g, POSCO Holdings, and Exem, and are responsible for AI transformation in industrial settings, specialized model development, and public-use AI verification. Startups specializing in AI infrastructure, safety, robotics, and semiconductors will also participate, supporting operations of ultra-large GPU clusters, NPU-based inference optimization, and physical AI verification.

Domestic university research labs are participating in the development of next-generation foundation model technologies and are working to secure frontier technologies such as VLM, external knowledge integration, ultra-long sentence processing, MoE structures, agentic reasoning, and safety assessment. Trillion Labs has demonstrated its technological prowess by unveiling its proprietary model, the "Trida-7B" and the mobile world model, the "gWorld-32B."

“This consortium is a strategic alliance that will implement AI that actually works in key national infrastructure sites, and will be a turning point that simultaneously achieves structural innovation based on independent technology and industrial internalization,” said Shin Jae-min, CEO of Trillion Labs.
