The Gyeonggi Innovation Center concluded its "2026 Climate Tech Startup Incubation Program" briefing session.

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim) announced that it has concluded online and offline business briefing sessions for the 2026 Climate Tech Startup Fostering Project, which it is promoting in collaboration with Gyeonggi Province.

Approximately 70 startups in the climate, energy, and industrial transition sectors participated in the online briefing held on the 5th, expressing interest in the project's purpose, support offerings, and global integration strategies. Through detailed questions and discussions with participating companies, the 2026 business direction and global scale-up strategy were shared.

On the 12th, approximately 50 promising climate tech companies attended an offline briefing session held at the Pangyo Startup Zone. Participants received hands-on guidance on the climate-specific accelerator program, which consists of the "diagnosis-cultivation-expansion" phase, as well as on investment, open innovation, and global collaboration benefits. An on-site Q&A session further enhanced their understanding of the program, discussing participation strategies and individual company-specific utilization plans.

An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “The high level of participation and the level of questions asked demonstrate climate tech companies’ will to grow and their interest in global expansion,” adding, “The 2026 project will be a turning point that will comprehensively support the scale-up of participating companies and strengthen their global competitiveness.”

Applications for the 2026 Climate Tech Startup Incubation Program will be accepted until 6:00 PM on February 20th. Further details can be found on the websites of Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Gyeonggi Innovation Center, and Pangyo Startup Zone, as well as through the poster QR code.
