CG Inside Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Seon-chun), a company specializing in generative AI solutions, and SaenNS Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Do-cheol), a smart factory specialist, are embarking on the commercialization of a next-generation smart factory AI solution that combines RAG (Research Augmented Generative) and TAG (Table Augmented Generative) technologies. The two companies announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to commercialize a smart factory AI multi-agent solution based on generative AI.
This agreement focuses on applying CG Inside's TAG (Table Augmented Generation) technology to smart factory environments. While existing RAG technology excels at retrieving and generating unstructured data in document form, TAG technology is optimized for precisely analyzing and generating table and numeric data within manufacturing systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
The two companies plan to combine RAG and TAG technologies and apply them to smart factory solutions. This will enable field workers to access statistical data and numerical reports in real time through natural language-based queries, enabling them to control processes. This will go beyond simple information retrieval and create a data-driven decision-making environment.
The scope of collaboration includes AI multi-agent planning and design, smart factory specialized data optimization, and improved result accuracy through prompt tuning. Specifically, CG Inside's AI agent will use TAG technology to calculate and predict various variables in the manufacturing field, suggesting alternatives for production scheduling and quality control.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to build an intelligent smart factory environment that combines manufacturing site data and generative AI technology, and to actively pursue commercialization of related solutions.
