Music investment platform Music Cow has launched the "FANDOM" project, which aims to share the value of music IP with fans. This project, leveraging the network of global entertainment company Roc Nation, aims to produce collaborative music tracks between Korean and American artists and issue these tracks as music securities.
"Fandom" is a fan-owned album project that expands fans beyond mere consumers into participants who share the value and success of the content. Music Cow will be in charge of production, while Roc Nation, in a strategic partnership with the US subsidiary, will handle international artist recruitment and global distribution. Future releases will be issued as music certificates through Music Cow US, creating a structure where fans can participate in the entire process, from music production to success.
On January 30th, the project's first single, "Two Car Garage," was released along with its music video. The track features collaborations from producer Jon Bellion, who has previously collaborated with BTS, and Swae Lee, known for his work on the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack "Sunflower." Music Cow plans to sequentially reveal additional collaborating artists in the future.
The project also includes the participation of K-pop artists. Music Cow aims to expand its musical spectrum and broaden its reach in the global market through collaborations between Korean and American artists.
Roc Nation, a comprehensive entertainment company representing global artists like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and J. Cole, boasts a concert planning and global distribution network. Building on this infrastructure, Music Cow plans to present a new cultural finance model that connects artists and fans across borders.
Music Cow announced that it will build a participatory ecosystem where fans and artists can grow together in the music industry through its fandom project.
