SDT's CubeStack receives GS certification, earning a Grade 1 certification. "Quantum computing platform quality certification."

Quantum standard technology specialist SDT (CEO Jiwon Yoon) announced that its full-stack quantum computing platform solution 'QubeStack' has received the GS (Good Software) certification grade 1 from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).

GS Certification is a national system that certifies the quality of domestic software. It comprehensively evaluates functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability, and security based on international standards (ISO/IEC). Certified products are recognized for their superior quality, including being included in priority purchasing by public institutions.

CubeStack is an integrated platform that supports the entire process, from building to operating a quantum computing-as-a-service (QCaaS) environment. It manages various computing resources, including CPUs, GPUs, and QPUs, and provides a quantum algorithm development environment by linking with major frameworks such as NVIDIA CUDA-Q, Xanadu PennyLane, and IBM Qiskit. SDT's own quantum computer, Kreo, is also operated through CubeStack.

The company explained that CubeStack was designed to be operational immediately after installation, shortening the process of building a traditional QCaaS environment, which typically takes months or even a year. It also highlighted increased management efficiency through an automated operating environment and integrated console.

Additionally, a plug-in architecture is adopted to support flexible integration of quantum hardware from different manufacturers. This allows for the integration of diverse quantum resources and enables a structure that can be expanded as needed.

Security and user convenience have also been enhanced. Keycloak-based IAM supports SSO and global authentication standards, while Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) provides granular permissions. It offers a notebook- and Composer-based development environment and supports various simulation functions, including state vectors and tensor networks, providing a development environment tailored to the user's level.

With this GS certification, SDT plans to expand its business into industries requiring security and reliability, such as space satellite orbit optimization, quantum-resistant cryptography in the defense sector, energy battery efficiency optimization, financial risk modeling, and biopharmaceutical development.

CEO Jiwon Yoon stated that CubeStack's acquisition of the GS certification level 1 is a recognition of its software technology and stability, and that he will contribute to the expansion of quantum computing adoption in the public and private sectors and the revitalization of the domestic quantum ecosystem.
