Smart Food Networks (CEO Heo Jeong-eun, hereinafter SFN), a food material distribution and technology company for the restaurant industry, has been selected as a supplier for the "2026 Data Voucher Support Project" hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Through its all-in-one franchise operation solution, "Restaurant UP HQ," SFN supports franchise headquarters in establishing transparent, data-driven management systems and promotes win-win management practices that enable both franchisees and headquarters to grow together.
RestaurantUP HQ is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of a store's profit structure through integrated analysis of sales and order data. Its AI-based menu grouping function automatically integrates and analyzes menu names across delivery platforms, identifying profitable menus. The "Order Gap Analysis" and "Menu Engineering" features, scheduled for release in the first half of this year, will compare cost discrepancies across stores and automatically detect over- and under-ordering and out-of-order locations, providing highly profitable menu recommendations and cost-saving guidelines.
The AI review management feature integrates and analyzes reviews scattered across the three delivery apps, enabling even unskilled store owners to craft optimized responses. Any unusual signs, such as plummeting sales or a surge in order cancellations, are notified to headquarters via KakaoTalk notifications, enabling proactive response. Data collection and closing times have also been shortened from three days to the next day, improving operational efficiency. The feature is also available as an add-on to the existing ordering app, eliminating the need for separate app installation, further enhancing convenience for franchisees.
If SFN is selected as a demand company, it will receive a voucher to carry out data projects worth up to 45 million won. For small and medium-sized enterprises, the government will subsidize 75% of the total project cost, and demand companies can implement a customized system with a contribution of only about 2.5%. SFN provides customized consulting from expert staff and supports the entire process, from application to development of a growth roadmap.
“The digital transformation of the restaurant industry begins with building trust between headquarters and franchise owners based on data,” said Heo Jeong-eun, CEO of SFN. “Through this project, we will create a healthy franchise ecosystem where small and medium-sized franchise headquarters can grow together with franchise owners.”
