The Ventures Launches English Media Channel "The Ventures Research" to Support Global Investment Attraction

The Ventures , a global early-stage venture capital firm, announced on the 19th that it has officially launched a dedicated English media channel, “The Ventures Research,” to support domestic startups in attracting global investment.

With global tech giants like OpenAI and Google investing in Korean startups, interest in the Korean market is growing among international investors. In line with this trend, The Ventures has adopted media-based strategies employed by major Silicon Valley investment firms like Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia Capital.

This strategy involves an investment firm directly operating industry media, expanding its portfolio companies' overseas exposure and supporting global partnerships. The Ventures is currently being cited as a leading domestic investment firm that regularly publishes English-language media content.

The Ventures also revealed the results of six months of operation of its self-developed AI reviewer, "Viki." According to the company, "Viki" achieved an 87.5% agreement rate with human reviewers and shortened the investment review period from over a month to just one week. The Ventures explained that this improved the efficiency of the review process and accelerated investment decision-making.

In addition, we are publishing regular reports based on primary data obtained from investment sites, such as changes in the retail market due to the entry of Chinese commerce companies into the Korean market and analysis of the growth drivers of the Korean startup ecosystem.

Since its launch, approximately 40% of the newsletter's subscribers have been international, with the majority coming from the investment and finance industries. Readers include executives from major Wall Street financial institutions, Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, and international institutional investors. The company also reported that this has led to inquiries from overseas investment firms and institutional investors regarding collaboration opportunities.

"The Ventures Research" content is written by The Ventures partners and reviewers. The Ventures plans to publish quarterly reports on the Korean investment industry and the global expansion performance of its portfolio companies, providing international investors with valuable insights into domestic industry trends.

Kim Chul-woo, CEO of The Ventures, said that media influence and networking capabilities are important factors in venture capital competitiveness, and announced that he would support domestic startups' entry into overseas markets by combining AI technology and media strategies.
