ICTK (CEO Lee Jeong-won), a next-generation quantum security fabless company, announced on the 19th that it will participate in 'MWC 2026', the world's largest mobile communications exhibition, held in Barcelona, Spain, starting on March 2nd.
Hosted by the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association), MWC (Mobile World Congress) is the world's largest ICT exhibition, bringing together global telecommunications companies, semiconductor companies, security companies, AI companies, and device companies to share next-generation technologies and industry trends. This year, under the theme "Future First: Connectivity, Security, and Intelligence," the event will highlight key future ICT technologies such as quantum security, AI security, and 6G communications.
ICTK will participate as a partner at the LG U+ booth and unveil a security architecture based on the "Quantum HRoT (Hardware Root of Trust)" that combines quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC) and physically unclonable functions (PUFs). Combining VIA PUF™ technology with PQC, it establishes a secure root of trust at the hardware level, thereby addressing the vulnerabilities of existing software-based cryptographic systems.
This exhibition will also unveil its flagship PQC PUF security chip and the "MTB," a battery authentication security chip scheduled for release in 2026. Targeting the battery management system (BMS) and replacement market, MTB is expected to be a new growth engine for the company.
An ICTK official said, “Security in the quantum era cannot be achieved through algorithms alone; a hardware-based root of trust (HRoT) is required.” He added, “Participating in MWC will be an opportunity for ICTK to leap forward as a global quantum security platform company and have its corporate value evaluated within the global supply chain.”
