POS and kiosk specialist IMU announced on the 19th that it has officially signed a contract to supply overseas solutions with Austrian global POS company Orderman.
I'mU is the only company in Korea that can directly manufacture POS and kiosk hardware and develop global store management software. It has also established a presence in the Japanese market by supplying solutions to the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks' home stadium PayPay Dome, the Yokohama DeNA BayStars' home stadium Yokohama Stadium, and Japan's largest beauty salon chain Hair Salon Iwasaki.
Orderman, a European restaurant ordering solutions company headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, has set the global standard for mobile ordering since launching the world's first mobile handheld terminal in 1994. Its solutions are currently available in over 75,000 restaurants worldwide.
Through this agreement, I'mU plans to gradually expand its integrated platform by leveraging Orderman's established distribution network in Europe, the Middle East, and the US. I'mU's solution will evolve beyond simple payment functionality into a data-driven store operation platform. The company aims to complete a "global integrated retail platform" model that combines big data services, advertising platforms, and infrastructure businesses.
Choi Jae-seop, CEO of AimU, said, “This contract is a significant turning point in our global strategy and a standard model for expanding into overseas markets,” adding, “We will create a sustainable growth structure in the global market based on our technological capabilities encompassing both hardware and software.”
