The Next Generation Foundation is recruiting organizations to participate in its non-profit startup incubation program for care and health.

The Next Generation Foundation announced on the 19th that it is recruiting participants for its "Care & Health Nonprofit Startup Incubation Project," a support program for early-stage nonprofit organizations addressing social issues related to caregiving and physical and mental health. This project aims to identify and nurture early-stage nonprofit organizations that offer new solutions and are preparing for business expansion amidst structural changes in society, such as the care gap caused by an aging population and the rise of single-person households, decreased physical activity, and social isolation. The project is sponsored by the Life Insurance Social Contribution Committee, Kyobo Life Insurance, and the Social Solidarity Bank.

Eligible organizations are non-profit organizations established for less than seven years. These organizations address emerging social issues related to care and physical and mental health, seek to enhance their effectiveness through operational sophistication, and aim to expand their reach, staff, and/or geographic reach. At least two dedicated individuals, including the CEO, must participate in the training program.

Selected organizations will receive up to 30 million won in grants, which can be used to cover up to 70% of operating expenses, including personnel and office space. Additionally, organizations will receive one-on-one expert mentoring, dedicated incubator office hours, capacity-building training, networking, impact capacity assessments (ICAN consulting), and back-office support.

Bang Dae-wook, CEO of the Next Generation Foundation, said, “Care and health issues are not individual problems, but rather challenges that society must solve together,” and added, “We will actively support early-stage non-profit organizations so that they can grow steadily and have an impact on more people.”

Organizations interested in participating can check the Next Generation Foundation website for detailed information, and applications will be accepted until 2:00 PM on March 3rd. An online business briefing session will be held at 3:00 PM on February 24th to explain the project details and how to apply.
