Avaco Signs Agreement with BOE to Supply Deposition Systems for OLED Mass Production

Avaco, a comprehensive advanced industrial equipment company, announced on the 19th through a public disclosure that it had signed a contract with Chinese display manufacturer BOE to supply deposition systems for mass production of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays. The contract term runs until December 21, 2027, and the contract size was not disclosed due to business confidentiality.

In June 2024, Avaco also received an order from BOE for an OLED deposition system, supplying equipment worth approximately KRW 290 billion. This contract is a follow-up to that project and is seen as a reaffirmation of Avaco's technological prowess and mass production capabilities amidst the global resumption of OLED investment.

The OLED deposition system is a key piece of equipment in the OLED mass production process, protecting the mask and substrate and ensuring stable process integration. It precisely controls the substrate's microscopic position and maintains stable temperature, humidity, and vacuum conditions, minimizing contact with foreign substances and enhancing the accuracy of organic material deposition.

Driven by growing demand for display equipment, Avaco achieved its best performance since its founding last year. Based on consolidated financial statements, sales for 2025 reached KRW 398.1 billion, a 30.3% increase year-on-year, and operating profit soared 68.7% to KRW 35.6 billion. Both sales and operating profit reached record highs.

A company official stated that the OLED deposition system is recognized for its technological prowess in the industry as equipment that has proven its mass production capacity, and that the company plans to use this contract as an opportunity to strengthen its competitiveness in related fields and expand its global customer base.
