Today's House announced on the 20th that it will be holding the 'Today's House Story Market', which will introduce the favorite items of special creators, at 'Today's House Bukchon' in Jongno-gu, Seoul, starting on the 24th.
This event, themed “Finding the next story of the things we love,” goes beyond the trading of used items and focuses on connecting the love and tastes of the previous owner to the new owner.
The event will feature special creators who have built fandoms by sharing interior design and lifestyle content on the Today's House platform. Each creator will present their favorite items with "story cards" that tell their stories. Visitors can explore the exhibited items alongside the story cards to discover items that suit their tastes.
Story Market will be held in two stages: the first from February 24th to March 2nd, and the second from March 4th to 8th. Along with creators' favorite items, various living items selected by them will be on display and for sale.
Visitor participation programs will also be offered on-site. These include a "Story Map" showcasing creators' tastes and stories, a "Story Certification Zone" where visitors can leave comments about items, a "Scoop Market" where visitors can scoop up items in a five-pack, and a "Hidden Living Item Lottery" for shoppers.
In addition, there will be side events such as a 50% discount for the first 10 people to visit on the sales day, limited goods provided, and an SNS certification event.
A representative from Today's House stated that this event is a new type of flea market model that combines creator fandom with offline exhibition and experiential elements, and that they expect visitors to be able to have an offline experience where they can share their tastes.
