Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation is recruiting companies to participate in its "2026 Startup-BuS at Gyeongbuk" IR event.

Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center announced that it is recruiting IR participating companies for the '2026 Startup-BuS at Gyeongbuk' program, an investment platform that continuously discovers promising local innovative startups and supports their ultra-fast growth.

The "Build-up Strategy for Startups" (BuS) is a full-cycle investment acceleration program that selects deep-tech companies and connects them with investments, TIPS, and follow-up funding within one year. The Gyeongbuk Center was recently selected as the operator of TIPS by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Furthermore, it established the G-Star Fund to revitalize regional investment, strengthening its investment capabilities for selected companies.

This program focuses on discovering deep-tech companies established within the past seven years, focusing on four specialized fields: AI/big data, bio/health, eco-friendly/energy, and robotics. Startups in non-specialized fields are also eligible to participate.

Operations are conducted through a weekly and monthly investor relations (IR) system. Investment potential is quickly reviewed through the "Thursday Express IR," held every Thursday. Top companies undergo final investment review at the "Gyeongbuk Terminal IR," held monthly.

The final selected companies will receive direct investment consideration utilizing the Gyeongbuk Center's funds, along with support from an acceleration program to prepare for Pre-TIPS and TIPS. The Gyeongbuk Center plans to systematically support non-metropolitan tech companies in securing funding and attracting follow-up investment by linking its network of TIPS operators with the G-Star Fund.

Yoo Ju-hyeon, CEO of the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center, explained that the program provides a rapid growth path for startups that possess technological competitiveness but struggle to connect with investment.

Companies wishing to participate can apply at any time through the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center website, and detailed information can be found in the website announcement.
