Epopsoft's 'Epop' ranks first in Taiwanese education app sales.

Epopsoft announced on the 20th that its global version of the AI English learning app Malhaeboka, 'Epop', ranked first in sales in the education category of the Taiwanese Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Since its launch in the Taiwanese market in May of last year, "Epop" has maintained a top 5 ranking in both markets since December, just seven months later. It achieved the top spot in sales on the 13th, demonstrating its substantial profitability and market competitiveness. This achievement is significant in that it was achieved based on the service's inherent usability and word-of-mouth, without any large-scale branding campaigns. Currently, it has recorded 700,000 downloads in Taiwan alone, with an app rating of 4.8. It is also continuing its growth in Greater China, maintaining a top 3 ranking in educational apps in Hong Kong, Macau, and other Chinese-speaking countries.

Epopsoft CEO Woojun Kim explained that the high demand in the Taiwanese English education market, the localized learning system, and the combination of game elements provided an immersive learning experience, leading to success.

Meanwhile, Malhaboka and Epop have established themselves as global English learning platforms, surpassing 10 million cumulative downloads as of December last year. This year, the company plans to expand its global market by enhancing its services and expanding into key European countries.
