HR-based AI platform Flex is making a full-scale foray into the large enterprise market by appointing five professional golfers, including members of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), as Flex Ambassadors.
On the 19th, Flex held the '2026 Flex Ambassador Inauguration Ceremony' at the Chosun Palace Hotel in Seoul and officially appointed KLPGA professional golfers Kim Da-na, Bae Gyeong-eun, Jeon Ji-seon, and Lee Hyun-ji, as well as golf announcer Hong Jae-kyung, as ambassadors.
The event on this day was held in the form of an induction ceremony, inviting the ambassador's family and welcoming the ambassador as a member of the Flex Team.
Flex presented the five ambassadors with employee ID cards, business cards, and welcome kits, which are given to new Flex employees, allowing them access to the Flex Bundang office. The ambassadors exchanged business cards for the first time on-site, solidifying their sense of belonging.
Flex, like global enterprise tech companies like SAP, Oracle, and Workday, has already partnered with and sponsored various sports associations and teams. The number of sponsors currently stands at 14, including the Korea Professional Football League (K League), the Korea Ski and Snowboard Association (KSA), the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA), the Korea Tennis Association (KTA), the Kiwoom Heroes professional baseball team, and the OK Savings Bank Superman professional volleyball team. This partnership aims to promote Flex's "team values" and "data management" through the symbolic nature of sports.
The five ambassadors who wore their employee ID cards around their necks on this day will serve as 'coaches on the field' to assist companies with data management and AX (AI transformation).
Flex shared specific, practical guidance to help ambassadors connect the practical concerns of executives they encounter in the field with Flex's AI, data, and platform technologies to address them. They explained that because the organizational, employee, and work data accumulated within Flex provides the most in-depth understanding of a company's context, integrating AI onto the HR platform can enable the smartest and safest way to achieve corporate AX.
Flex CEO Jang Hae-nam said, "The Winter Olympics once again demonstrate that sports are a comprehensive art form, encompassing not only individual skill but also rigorous data analysis and sophisticated coaching based on that data. Just as in sports, corporate decision-making often hinges on strategic and sophisticated decision-making, which can determine business success or failure." He added, "We hope you will serve as a bridge between business and technology, so that our HR-based AI platform can truly contribute to solving management's challenges."
