Global family entertainment company The Pinkfong Company (CEO Min-seok Kim) announced on the 23rd that it will expand its experiential offline business targeting the Asia-Pacific (APAC) market by holding a large-scale water park pop-up event, ‘Baby Shark Splash Wonder’, in Singapore.
This pop-up event will take place at Palawan Green on Sentosa Island, Singapore, from March 13 to April 5. The 4,670-square-meter outdoor space, capable of accommodating up to 5,000 people, will feature a total of 18 attractions, including the 43.5-meter-long, 13.2-meter-tall "Submarine Rush" slide and the "Ocean Wave Challenge" wave pool. Utilizing inflatables, the park will provide a safe yet dynamic water play environment.
The pop-up site will feature family-friendly programs, including a meet-and-greet with Pinkfong and a Baby Shark puppet, a sing-along stage featuring popular nursery rhymes, and photo opportunities. Twelve exclusive merchandise items, including event-exclusive t-shirts, hats, and beach towels, will also be available.
Through this event, The Pinkfong Company announced that it plans to strengthen its LBE (Location-Based Entertainment) strategy, which goes beyond the existing IP experience centered on 'visual content' and directly experience it, and to build an offline experience model that can be expanded across APAC.
