Pluto's Japanese sales are expected to surpass 5 billion won, representing a 180% year-over-year increase.

Artificial intelligence data and solutions company Pluto (CEO Lee Jeong-su) announced on the 23rd that it is accelerating the expansion of its global AI business by recording rapid growth in the Japanese market.

Pluto projects that its Japanese subsidiary, Pluto Japan, will have annual sales exceeding 5 billion won in 2025, representing an increase of more than 180% compared to its sales of approximately 1.8 billion won in 2024.

The Japanese subsidiary has established a solid revenue base by expanding its localization business, focusing on key Japanese content industries such as animation, games, and publishing. Through a data-driven translation process, it has secured a competitive edge in speed and accuracy over traditional manual methods, earning the trust of major local clients.

In particular, our AI simultaneous interpretation solution, "Live Translation," has grown approximately fivefold year-over-year, strengthening our local presence. This solution is increasingly being adopted at international events and large-scale exhibitions, serving as a key interpretation and translation partner for global events such as "Meta Festival Japan 2025."

Additionally, to expand into the B2C market, the company is diversifying its service portfolio by focusing on everyday use cases such as travel and business, while introducing 'Chat Translation,' a hyper-personalized AI translation solution.

Based on its proprietary language data and AI engine, Pluto has proven its AI technology competitiveness by meeting high quality standards in the Japanese market. Building on these achievements, Pluto achieved consolidated revenue of 36 billion won in 2025, a 77% year-on-year increase, and six consecutive quarters of operating profit, marking its best performance since its founding.

CEO Lee Jeong-su said, “The growth of our Japanese corporation is a case in point where Pluto’s AI data technology has been proven as a revenue model in the global market,” and added, “Based on this achievement, we will accelerate the establishment of an AI ecosystem without language barriers around the world.”
