Lameditech's "Puracell Beauty" Receives China's CVC Certification

Lameditech (CEO Choi Jong-seok), a company specializing in laser beauty medical devices, announced on the 24th that its home laser beauty device 'PURAXEL ME-in' has obtained China CVC certification.

CVC certification is a mandatory certification required for the distribution of household, electrical, and beauty devices in China. It requires compliance with national standards for key technical aspects, including safety, performance, electromagnetic compatibility, and durability. The company explained that with this certification, it has secured the legal and technical requirements for nationwide sales in China and has received official recognition for the excellence of its laser miniaturization and precision control technology.

The "Puracell Beauty" is a miniaturized version of the Er:YAG fractional laser technology used in hospitals, clinics, and professional aesthetic equipment, implemented as a home device. Based on a structure that uses the laser to create microscopic channels in the skin, enhancing the absorption of effective cosmetic ingredients, the device combines radiofrequency (RF), water droplet ultrasound, and cooling functions.

Lameditech plans to target the premium home aesthetics market with a platform-based product strategy, differentiated from existing single-function home care devices. It is currently in sales discussions with local distribution partners in China and is continuing strategic distribution talks with an early childhood education group that operates approximately 1,000 educational centers in 400 cities across China, a development that began in the second half of last year.

The partner company is known to have a cumulative membership of over 100,000 households. Leveraging this educational infrastructure, Lameditech plans to target female parents in their 30s and 40s as its primary target audience and accelerate its initial market penetration through experiential marketing.

The company plans to gradually expand its sales network to include major Chinese online commerce platforms, offline department stores, and specialty distribution channels, leveraging sales data and consumer feedback gathered through this distribution model. This strategy aims to establish a structure for repeat purchases of consumer goods, such as cosmetics, rather than one-off exports, thereby laying the foundation for mid- to long-term growth.

Choi Jong-seok, CEO of Lameditech, explained that CVC certification is a standard that proves the technical perfection and reliability of a product to Chinese consumers and distribution partners, and announced that based on platform competitiveness, they will establish a stable distribution model centered on Chinese female consumers in their 30s and 40s and expand their entry into the global home care laser market.
