Ride Inc. (CEO Lee Min-cheol) announced on the 24th that it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Inventis Inc. (CEO Oh Hoon-taek) at Ride's headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul. This agreement aims to improve the customer experience across mobility services and enhance operational efficiency by combining the two companies' technological prowess, service, and platform operational capabilities.

Ride has been providing related services through a single, integrated platform to address the inefficiencies, information asymmetry, and transparency issues inherent in the existing automotive distribution structure, where vehicle search, test drive, purchase, and maintenance/management were often disconnected. This agreement aims to technologically enhance and expand this customer experience-centric platform, focusing on enhancing the convenience of vehicle purchases and service use for B2C and B2B customers and providing a differentiated experience.

In this process, Inventis, which has built a single solution for the business processes required for automobile distribution and related service operations, is participating as a cooperative partner, further solidifying Ride's direction of achieving innovation in automobile distribution based on technological competitiveness.

Since its founding in 2014, Inventis has developed and provided solutions covering all aspects of automotive distribution and service operations, including vehicle sales, customer management, maintenance, and training, focusing on the global automotive industry. By providing AI-powered data collection, integration, and automation systems, Inventis supports improved business and operational efficiency for global automakers and approximately 2,500 global dealers.

Through this collaboration, Ride plans to leverage its platform operating experience, including new car distribution and maintenance services, and leverage Inventis's accumulated expertise in digitalizing dealer operations and maintenance processes and SaaS-based solutions to enhance service quality, deliver a differentiated customer experience, and accelerate innovation in the automotive distribution structure. The goal is to enhance customer convenience and overall operational efficiency across the automotive distribution and service ecosystem.

Additionally, the two companies will continue discussions to gradually review the possibility of cooperation in various areas, including vehicle distribution, maintenance and management, and education, from planning to actual field application.

“We are focusing on increasing customer satisfaction by making the entire process of exploring and using cars more transparent and convenient through technology and data,” said Lee Min-cheol, CEO of Ride. “Through this agreement, we will fully advance our services centered on customer experience and lead the change in the automobile distribution structure.”

Inventis CEO Oh Hoon-taek stated, “Based on the mobility IT and dealer operation system construction technology we have accumulated so far, we will establish a practical foundation for growth into a domestic and international automobile distribution service platform through this business collaboration with Ride.”

Beginning with this MOU, the two companies plan to gradually implement an integrated platform model that combines technology and services, strengthening their market influence as key players driving innovation in automobile distribution centered on customer experience.
