SelectStar (CEO Kim Se-yeop) unveiled its participation model and operational methods for the "Global AI Red Team Challenge," a side event at MWC 2026, to be held in Barcelona, Spain in March. The challenge will be held in three 20-minute sessions at the "Talent Arena" on March 3rd at 11:15 AM local time.
This event will feature leading LLMs from domestic and international telecommunications and AI companies. From Korea, SK Telecom's "AX K1" and LG Uplus' "ixi-GEN" will participate. From overseas, AT&T's "Ask AT&T," NetoAI's "Tslam," and the United Arab Emirates' Khalifa University-GSMA collaboration model "TelecomGPT" will participate.
Participating models will be evaluated on six criteria: bias, forcing misinformation, harmfulness, drug and drug-related risks, copyright infringement, and sexual inappropriateness. Pre-registered participants will perform simulated prompt attacks to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement in their models.
SelectStar oversees the construction of the Red Team Challenge platform, on-site operations, and real-time monitoring, supporting the competition's progress. Evaluation results and query data are shared individually with each company, allowing them to utilize them to improve their models.
Through this event, SelectStar plans to apply its AI reliability verification experience to the global communications industry and establish a verification system usable in real-world service environments. Additional Red Team Challenges are planned for the future in Las Vegas, USA; Beijing, China; and Doha, Qatar.
During MWC, SelectStar will exhibit under the "Datumo" brand at the SK Telecom exhibition hall in Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via, showcasing its AI reliability assessment platform, the "Datumo platform." Based on the generative AI reliability verification solution "Datumo Eval," the platform integrates assessment processes, including automatic redtiming.
CEO Kim Se-yeop said, "The telecommunications industry is a sector where AI is rapidly spreading into everyday life. The Red Team Challenge will serve as a joint verification platform to safely and robustly advance LLM." He added, "We will establish a reliability verification standard that will be accepted globally."
