Canevi Mobility to Unveil LiDAR and Communication Module-Based Unmanned Vehicle Technology at Drone Show Korea 2026

Smart mobility specialist Kanevi Mobility announced that it will participate in Drone Show Korea 2026, which will be held at BEXCO in Busan until the 27th, and showcase unmanned vehicle application technology based on LiDAR sensors and industrial communication modules developed in its own research lab.

At this exhibition, the company will showcase its lineup of LiDAR sensors and core technologies applicable to various unmanned vehicle environments, including drones and robots. These sensors support long-distance, real-time obstacle detection and distance measurement, and feature noise cancellation and AI-based object recognition and classification capabilities. Furthermore, a ROS2-based SDK enhances connectivity with external systems and development efficiency, while self-diagnosis features enhance operational stability.

The KM-2010 industrial communication module, also unveiled, supports V2X-based long-distance communication, enabling interconnection between multiple unmanned vehicles. Designed for IP65 waterproofing and dust resistance and meeting industrial temperature standards, it has been applied to autonomous mobile robots in global vehicle manufacturing smart factories, demonstrating its quality and reliability in real-world environments.

Based on a technical collaboration with autonomous driving specialist Sky Autonet, Canevi Mobility is showcasing its unmanned vehicle application technology in the form of a joint demonstration platform. The company's LiDAR sensor and communication module were applied to the SkyHunter small tactical robot, demonstrating a sensor-communications convergence scenario.

Based on its experience in developing and mass-producing automotive electrical products and its accumulated technological prowess in the industrial sensor and communications sectors, the company is expanding the scope of application of its LiDAR sensors and communication modules to drones, robots, and autonomous driving platforms.

A company official stated that through this exhibition, they plan to focus on publicizing the technological competitiveness and convergence potential of the unmanned vehicle field, improving the efficiency of integrated development with customer products, and shortening the system stabilization period.
