Romin and Naver Cloud Sign Partnership for Solutions Business Collaboration

Lomin Co., Ltd. (CEO Jihong Kang), a document AI specialist, has signed a partnership agreement with Naver Cloud (CEO Yuwon Kim) for solutions business collaboration. Through this collaboration, Lomin aims to expand its offering of document AI-based document automation platforms.

The partnership focuses on expanding opportunities for document automation solutions to be introduced across various industries, including the public, financial, and general corporate sectors, by leveraging Romin's document AI technology and Naver Cloud's network and marketplace, and jointly building a supply chain that can be applied on-site.

Through this agreement, Romin will provide key solutions such as ▲ TextScope Reader, an AI OCR solution that recognizes printed and handwritten text in document images with high precision, ▲ TextScope Doc Parser, which analyzes complex document structures to refine and structure key information such as text, tables, and shapes, and ▲ a document AI platform that combines VLM-based visual information recognition and active learning technology.

In particular, 'TextScope Doc Parser' has been utilized in various industries such as public, financial, and manufacturing, and was recently applied to the preprocessing area of structuring and refining public administrative documents into a form suitable for utilizing large-scale language models in the government-wide large-scale AI common base implementation project.

The solution is registered in the Naver Cloud Platform Marketplace and is available in versions for public institutions, financial institutions, and general enterprises, depending on industry needs. Based on on-premise delivery, Romin supports customized implementations for customer environments and plans to gradually expand its offering to SaaS in the future.

CEO Kang Ji-hong said, “Through this agreement, we have laid the foundation for more companies and organizations to easily adopt Romin’s unique document AI technology,” and “We will contribute to simultaneously securing cost reduction and information utilization efficiency through document work automation.”
