CEO Kim Chang-han unveiled a new vision, centered on "Organizational Alignment in a Single Direction at a Time of Change." This new vision embodies the company's commitment to fulfilling gamers' dreams by venturing down uncharted paths and providing new experiences to fans worldwide through bold imagination and technology. The company explained that this clearly demonstrates its spirit of challenge and future-oriented direction.
The slogan embodying the core message of the vision is "Pioneer the Undiscovered." This reflects the company's commitment to focusing on the fundamentals of the gaming industry while also challenging existing boundaries in new genres and technological areas. This vision statement was launched to concretize mid- to long-term direction and criteria for decision-making in response to paradigm shifts such as the changing gaming industry environment and the proliferation of AI technology.
Based on its new vision, Krafton plans to accelerate its mid- to long-term strategy of securing "Big Franchise IPs" and expanding future value through AI. The company plans to continue its strategy of validating project potential through "small, quick challenges" and expanding proven projects into franchise IPs. Furthermore, Krafton plans to leverage its existing game development capabilities to explore new business opportunities that can expand its core competitiveness and refine its growth strategy.
Five new core values were also introduced to implement the vision: ▲Challenge toward a bold purpose, ▲Thoroughly prepared attempts, ▲Combining imagination and technology, ▲Fan-centric thinking, and ▲Global thinking and sensibility. These values will serve as the basis for future project implementation and key decision-making.
Along with this, the company also underwent a complete overhaul of its corporate identity. The new CI, based on the concept of "Perspective Shift," embodies the idea of discovering and expanding new possibilities through a shift in perspective. The brand color, a red palette, was adopted to differentiate the company in the global market and enhance brand awareness. Through this new CI, the company aims to solidify its identity as a global publisher encompassing diverse creative studios and publishing IP.
