
Doohands, which operates the fulfillment service Poomgo, announced on the 27th that it will be launching a one-stop US influencer seeding service for domestic beauty companies hoping to enter the US market in cooperation with beauty platform company Hwahae Global.
This service offers integrated support throughout the entire process, from recruiting local influencers to product delivery and customs clearance. Hwahae Global handles matching and managing US influencers who are a good fit for the brand and product, while Poomgo handles global delivery and customs clearance. The average review return rate is estimated at around 70%.
The US is the leading exporter of K-beauty products and is considered a key market for Korean companies. Influencer seeding, which uses reviews and unboxing content from local influencers to drive consumer purchases, is an effective strategy for establishing initial brand awareness. However, previously, marketing and logistics had to be managed separately, resulting in significant costs and management burdens.
As the sole domestic partner of FedEx, Poomgo supports delivery within 5-7 days and operates five of its 15 fulfillment centers nationwide as overseas delivery hubs. Through this collaboration, Doohands plans to enhance logistics and marketing efficiency for K-beauty companies seeking to enter global markets such as the US and Japan.
To celebrate the launch of the service, companies that apply will receive a 50% discount on the seeding service and an additional discount on global shipping costs, and the first 10 companies to apply will receive free branded seeding service.
