Nudge Healthcare announced on the 3rd that its health management app, Cashwalk, won first place in the health management app category at the 2026 Forbes Korea Consumer Awards. This marks Cashwalk's second consecutive year of winning the award.
Launched in 2017, Cashwalk is a health management app that has built a digital healthcare model centered around walking. It introduced a pedometer to the phone's lock screen and combined financial rewards for step counting with a user-to-user network structure to encourage users to engage in healthy behaviors.
The user engagement structure has evolved beyond short-term events to foster repeated practice and habit formation, establishing itself as a differentiating factor for the service. Cashwalk is expanding its functionality to include the team-based challenge platform Teamwork, the running content Running Crew, the health data recording service, and the mental care service Trost, striving to evolve into a comprehensive health management platform encompassing physical activity and lifestyle.
As of January 2026, Cashwalk's cumulative domestic downloads exceeded 29 million. Following its expansion into the American market, the company is expanding its business into the Japanese market, further solidifying its position as a global healthcare platform.
Song Seung-geun, CEO of Nutzy Healthcare, said that this award reflects the continued use and trust of the user base.
Meanwhile, the Forbes Korea Consumer Choice Best Brand Award is an award that selects representative brands in each field through a comprehensive review of consumer evaluations and brand competitiveness.
