Jobis&Villains (CEO Kim Beom-seop), which operates the 'Samjyeonsam, the platform that connects people's lives, with the beginning of refunds and the completion of benefits,' announced on the 3rd that it will join hands with the Youth Foundation (Chairman Oh Chang-seok) to eliminate blind spots in financial and tax affairs for young people and support their economic independence.
The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Youth Foundation headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to support financial and tax education for underserved youth. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including Jarvis & Vilance CFO Choi Jin-hwan and Youth Foundation Chairman Oh Chang-seok. Jarvis & Vilance donated 10 million won along with the agreement.
The donation will be used to develop educational content to improve financial literacy among young people and to support tax education services. While the number of young workers in non-traditional positions, such as freelancers and platform workers, has recently increased, there still remains a "tax blind spot" where people are left to handle complex tax filings on their own. Jarvis & Villains plans to build a sustainable education model by combining the tax and financial expertise gained through operating Samjjeomsam with the Youth Foundation's network and business operations capabilities.
CFO Choi Jin-hwan stated, "Young people often face challenges facing complex tax and financial barriers. Through this agreement with the Youth Foundation, we will lower the barriers to tax and financial access and support young people in achieving economic independence." Chairman Oh Chang-seok stated, "This agreement marks the starting point for providing much-needed support to underserved youth through professional and practical financial and tax education. We will actively support young people to alleviate their financial insecurity and plan their own futures."
