Airkey Appoints Lee Chang-jin, Head of Strategic Management, as New CEO and President

Airkey (CEO Lee Chang-jin), a company specializing in AI-based IT infrastructure solutions, announced on the 3rd that it has appointed Lee Chang-jin, head of the Strategic Management Division, as its new CEO.

Newly appointed CEO Lee Chang-jin joined Airkey in June of last year and, as Head of the Management Strategy Division, oversaw all aspects of the company's operations, including business strategy development, finance, and human resources. Since December, he has concurrently served as Head of the Group's Future Strategy Office, spearheading the company's mid- to long-term growth strategy. Recognized for his expertise and leadership in strategy development, execution, and organizational operations, he has been promoted to CEO and President.

The CEO stated, “Based on the technological prowess and customer trust Airkey has accumulated over the past 24 years, we will secure future growth engines and strengthen our sustainable business structure,” adding, “We will take a leap forward by improving our management structure to focus on profitability and expanding our business in the AI field.”

CEO Lee Chang-jin began his career as a researcher at LG CNS, then moved to Hancom, CJ OliveNetworks, and Bithumb Korea, where he held key positions in strategic planning and management strategy, including corporate strategy formulation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and planning coordination. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Seoul National University and a doctorate from Sungkyunkwan University.

Airkey is a domestic partner of leading global IT companies including Cisco, and this year, it was recognized for its expertise and technological capabilities by obtaining the 'Preferred Partner' status in the networking and security field and the 'Portfolio Partner' status in the cloud, AI, service, and collaboration fields in Cisco's new partner program.
