Softfreak's "Papim Gateway" Receives Grade 1 GS Certification

Softfreak announced on the 4th that its API gateway solution, 'F-APIm Gateway', has received GS (Good Software) certification level 1.

GS certification is a system in which state-authorized testing and certification agencies, such as the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), comprehensively evaluate software functionality, performance, usability, reliability, and security based on international standards. Grade 1 is awarded to products that meet a certain level of quality standards. In particular, Grade 1 GS-certified products are considered advantageous for entering the public procurement market, as they are given priority consideration for procurement during public institution informatization project procurement.

Papim Gateway is a solution that integrates the operation and management of APIs, the inter-system data communication channels. It reliably relays and coordinates API calls between internal and external systems, and serves as a central management hub that controls inter-service traffic to securely process requests.

Softfreak provides key API operation functions, including authentication, security, traffic control, protocol translation, and logging, through the Papim Gateway. This helps businesses and public institutions secure and standardize data flow, enhance operational visibility, and establish a systematic API management environment.

CEO Kim Dong-cheol stated that obtaining the GS certification level 1 objectively confirmed the product's quality competitiveness, and that the company will support digital transformation by providing a stable operating system based on API governance not only in the public procurement market but also in the financial sector and large corporations, as well as in the enterprise sector.

Softfreak plans to continuously enhance the product's competitiveness by enhancing the operational automation capabilities of the Papim Gateway, expanding its policy templates, and strengthening its connectivity with control and security solutions. Recently, competition in the domestic and international API management and gateway markets has intensified with global vendors offering solutions optimized for cloud-native environments.
