Archisketch and StudioLab Sign MOU to Build 3D Spatial Data Infrastructure for Robot AI Training

Archisketch (CEO Lee Ju-seong) and StudioLab (CEO Kang Sung-hoon) announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a 3D spatial data infrastructure for robot AI training. The signing ceremony took place at 'MWC 2026' held at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

Archisketch, a 3D spatial data company, is transforming its assets into infrastructure for robotic AI training. The data includes not only simple shape information but also physical properties such as material, weight, and risk of damage, enabling the provision of structured information.

Archisketch plans to build a "spatial intelligence dataset" for robot learning, leveraging CAD-based 3D geometric calculation technology and an automatic data generation engine. This dataset can serve as a structured ground truth for spatial inference training in VLMs, and can be expanded to a Sim-to-Real architecture, where repeated training in a virtual environment is followed by application to the real world.

While this technology was previously used for interior and indoor design simulations, this agreement expands its business scope to include spatial data infrastructure for robot AI training. Through this agreement, Archisketch aims to transform beyond a 3D design solutions provider into an AI infrastructure company that standardizes and automatically generates spatial data.

StudioLab possesses a commerce content automation solution that combines robotics technology and generative AI. By linking the photo-taking robot "Genci PB" with the generative AI-based detail page creation solution "Genci," the solution automates everything from photography to online sales content creation. This solution won the "Best Innovation Award" in the Spatial Computing category at CES 2026.

The two companies plan to jointly build a robot AI learning system with real-world applicability and scalability by combining Archisketch's 3D automatic generation and simulation technology with StudioLab's physical AI technology. Amidst the industrial AI transformation and the expansion of the humanoid robot market, the importance of data infrastructure, which determines robot performance, is being emphasized.

Lee Joo-seong, CEO of Archisketch, said, “We are expanding beyond AI that designs spaces to a data infrastructure company that understands and teaches spaces,” and “We will work with Studio Lab to build a 3D spatial data platform that will enable humanoid robots to learn and verify in real environments.”

Studio Lab CEO Kang Sung-hoon said, “Robot AI performance depends on securing precise and structured spatial data,” and added, “Through this collaboration, we will increase robot learning efficiency and jointly advance AI systems that can be applied in industrial settings.”
