DoubleU Games Selected as a "Model Taxpayer" on the 60th Taxpayer's Day

DoubleU Games was selected as a model taxpayer on the 60th Taxpayer's Day.

The company announced on the 4th that it had been named a model taxpayer on the occasion of the 60th Taxpayer's Day, held on March 3rd. The model taxpayer system is a reward system in which the National Tax Service and local governments select individuals and corporations who faithfully pay their taxes based on certain criteria.

In particular, in the case of Seoul, the target is selected from among taxpayers who have not been in arrears with local taxes for the past 10 years and have continuously paid at least two local taxes annually for more than 8 years.

DoubleU Games was selected as an exemplary taxpayer in recognition of its long-term, consistent tax payment history. The company explained that its consistent tax compliance was based on a stable revenue base and internal control system.

Companies selected as exemplary taxpayers are granted preferential tax treatment, including a temporary deferral of tax and customs audits. They are also granted various incentives, including financial benefits and access to public facilities. This support is expected to contribute to easing the administrative burden on companies and enhancing their public trust.

DoubleU Games stated that it has maintained a stable cash flow by increasing its sales in overseas markets, and based on this, has consistently fulfilled its tax obligations. The company plans to continue to maintain a transparent management system and strengthen its corporate social responsibility.

A company official stated that this selection demonstrates the company's financial soundness and responsible management principles, and that the company will continue to pursue growth while fulfilling its social responsibilities.

Meanwhile, in the domestic gaming industry, major listed companies are continuing to improve their performance and strengthen ESG management and compliance/transparency management.
