X-LOG (CEO Seok-ju Jang) announced on the 5th that it has applied its file replication solution, ‘X-LOG for File,’ to the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ ‘Intelligent Maritime Traffic Information System Operation and Maintenance Project.’
This project aims to establish operational infrastructure for the rapid and accurate sharing of maritime safety information, serving as a platform for improving public convenience and supporting the maritime industry. A key objective is to reliably synchronize source data from the Sejong Central Operations Center with the Incheon Second Operations Center, ensuring up-to-date information even during emergency operations.
Xlog's system is designed to synchronize only based on file changes, minimizing unnecessary retransmissions and reducing network load even in high-volume data transfer environments. Furthermore, it improves operational efficiency by automating repetitive manual tasks.
Synchronized data provides information necessary for ship operation, such as weather, wind speed and direction, and wave height, through regular announcements twice a day, allowing immediate reference on ships, ports, and control sites.
“The key to this deployment was to stably maintain file up-to-dateness in the flow of information between bases,” said Jang Seok-ju, CEO of Xlog. “By ensuring punctuality and minimizing repetitive tasks, we were able to simultaneously improve operational efficiency and service quality.”
Meanwhile, demand for real-time synchronization solutions for large-capacity files continues to grow in the public infrastructure and maritime data management sectors.
