ActionPower, an AI company specializing in business workflows, announced on the 5th that it has secured 6 billion won in Series B funding. Hana Ventures led the round, and existing investors We Ventures and Tony Investment joined with new investors including the Korea Development Bank. This brings ActionPower's total funding to over 20 billion won.
ActionPower supports business and individual work efficiency improvements based on multimodal AI technology that integrates and processes diverse data types, including voice, text, and images. Building on nearly a decade of accumulated high-performance, lightweight model development capabilities, ActionPower offers B2C services as well as B2B on-premise and cloud environments. To date, the company has secured over 70 domestic and international patents and published papers in global AI journals, strengthening its technological competitiveness. Personalized data-based services and high-performance embedding technology are also key capabilities.
Its main service, "Daglo," saw revenue increase approximately fourfold year-over-year, reaching 13 million cumulative voice processing hours by 2025. This demonstrates the company's operational capabilities to reliably handle large-scale traffic. The B2B segment also saw growth of approximately 40% year-over-year. The company has expanded its corporate sales by securing clients across diverse industries, including DB Life Insurance, Hancom, Daegu City Hall, Seoul National University Hospital, and KT Skylife.
Action Power plans to use the secured funds to enhance product functionality, expand into overseas markets, and expand its B2B business. The company's strategy is to expand its business into task automation and decision support through AI agent solutions tailored to industry needs. Based on lightweight technology and customized services, Action Power plans to gradually expand the scope of AI applications in corporate environments.
Hana Ventures assessed ActionPower's high level of technological sophistication in multimodal AI and that its B2B and B2C businesses, based on its proprietary model, have entered a growth phase. ActionPower's co-CEO stated that the investment will fuel global expansion, responding to the trend of AI evolving beyond simple information provision to support actual work.
With the rapid growth of the enterprise generative AI and AI agent market, investment in and adoption of multimodal-based solutions for task automation and productivity enhancement is expanding.
