ENlighten (CEO Youngho Lee) announced on the 6th that it has simultaneously obtained international certifications for ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) for the entire solar power business process.
ISO certification is an indicator that verifies that a company's management and operation processes are systematically managed according to international standards. Through this certification, Enlighten has been officially recognized as having a management system in all areas, from solar power design, procurement, and construction (EPC) to operation and maintenance (O&M) and operation of the data-based energy platform 'Power Generation King', that meets international standards.
Solar power generation projects are prone to quality variations depending on scale and site conditions, and long-term operational management is directly linked to profitability. Enlighten has strengthened its management capabilities by standardizing work procedures, managing data-driven performance indicators, and establishing a continuous internal review and improvement process.
In the environmental management sector, the company achieved ISO 14001 certification by implementing a system to minimize environmental impact during facility installation and operation. This, along with the existing ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) certification, completes the "ISO 3 Integrated Management System" encompassing quality, environment, and safety. This is expected to serve as a basis for enhancing competitiveness in projects with large corporations and public institutions.
