Upbit Hosts "Next Job" Homecoming Day to Support Young Adults Preparing for Self-Reliance

Dunamu (CEO Oh Kyung-seok), which operates Upbit, announced that it held 'Next UP Day', the homecoming day of 'Upbit Next JOB', a job support program for young people preparing for independence, on the 7th.

This event was attended by young people who participated in internships and startup support programs, as well as representatives from local organizations, the Social Solidarity Bank, and other organizations. Dunamu organized the event to build a community among young people, share their experiences, evaluate the program's achievements, and discuss future directions for business advancement.

"Next Job" is a systematic job program designed to support young people preparing for independence, helping them settle into society and achieve economic independence. It includes a variety of activities, including internships, startup support, and financial and career education. Over the past three years, a total of 1,421 individuals have received support. Satisfaction with job performance and skill improvement averaged 4.53 out of 5, while satisfaction with economic and future preparation support averaged 4.71 and 4.59, respectively.

The event also included a session where young people shared their experiences. In collaboration with major regional hubs like Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan, a total of 101 local businesses, social enterprises, and small business owners participated as internship partners, providing an environment where young people could gain practical experience in a familiar area.

Oh Kyung-seok, CEO of Dunamu, said, “I hope that Next Job will play a supporting role in helping young people enter society stably and demonstrate their capabilities,” and added, “We will continue to work to support self-reliance based on residence and build a sustainable system.”

Dunamu has selected "youth" as the core target of its ESG strategy and is operating various programs to support vulnerable youth and cultivate digital finance and web3 talent.

Recently, domestic companies are increasingly combining social responsibility with technology-based education, expanding youth job support and regional settlement programs in line with their ESG strategies.
