Ellis Group to Participate in AW 2026, Unveiling AI Infrastructure and Document Intelligence Solutions for Manufacturing AX

Ellis Group announced that it participated in the 'Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition 2026 (Automation World 2026, AW 2026)' held at COEX in Seoul from March 4th to 6th and introduced strategies and technologies for AI transformation (AX) in the manufacturing industry.

During the event, Ellis Group set up an exhibition booth in the "AI Factory Special Hall" and unveiled various technologies, focusing on the "Ellis AI PMDC (Portable Modular Data Center)," a modular data center suitable for manufacturing, and the "Ellis IDP (Intelligent Document Processing)" document intelligence solution. Through these efforts, the company presented a manufacturing AX case that combines on-premises AI infrastructure with data-driven AI services.

The "Ellis AI PMDC" is an on-premise, modular data center that can be built to fit any factory environment. It is designed for flexible expansion based on factory size and operating environment. By deploying an edge-based architecture that deploys AI infrastructure near the factory, it simultaneously ensures process data security and real-time processing efficiency.

The newly released "Ellis IDP" is a document intelligence solution based on Visual Language Model (VLM) technology that automatically analyzes complex process documents and unstructured data and converts them into digital data. The company explained that those in the manufacturing and construction industries have expressed interest in the potential to transform existing manual document management methods into data-driven systems.

Ellis Group also participated in the "Industrial Intelligence Conference" held in conjunction with the exhibition, sharing its approach and strategies for applying Manufacturing AX. The presentation highlighted the digital transformation challenges facing the manufacturing industry and introduced a "physical AI" implementation plan that combines physical production environments with AI technology using modular data centers.

At the "AI Factory Seminar" held on the 5th, he presented on the topic "From data to action: Harnessing Agentic AI," emphasizing the role of "agentic AI" technology in autonomously accomplishing goals. He also explained that with next-generation AI infrastructure in place, it will be possible to implement intelligent systems capable of making decisions and performing tasks on the manufacturing floor.

Kim Jae-won, CEO of Ellis Group, said, “This exhibition was an opportunity to show how Ellis’ AI infrastructure and model technology can be applied in actual manufacturing environments,” and added, “We plan to continue to expand our support to help manufacturing companies increase productivity and operational efficiency based on our AI infrastructure and solution capabilities.”

In recent years, the manufacturing industry has seen a rapid expansion of the adoption of "Manufacturing AX," which combines AI and data infrastructure to automate production processes and enhance decision-making.
