Wonkang Holds Technology Exchange Event with Turkish Partners

Wonkang (CEO Kang Tae-young) recently announced that it invited its Turkish partner to Korea for a technology exchange event, where they visited its Busan headquarters and production plant. This visit was designed to allow local business partners to firsthand observe Wonkang's production facilities and quality control system and enhance their technical understanding of its key products.

The delegation toured the factory production line and inspected the manufacturing process for core components of Wonkang's core foundation construction equipment, including pick cutters, gearboxes, and mud pumps. They also heard explanations of product performance and field applications, and engaged in in-depth discussions about expanding future cooperation.

Wonkang produces a diverse lineup of equipment, including BC32, BC35, and BC40 components, and supplies products to 17 countries worldwide, including Turkey, India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. A Wonkang representative stated, "Having overseas partners directly inspect our production sites is a crucial step in building mutual trust. We plan to continue working closely with our global partners to further expand our overseas market presence."

Located in Magok, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Wonkang's Total Foundation R&D Center pursues quality improvement through research and development, and is conducting joint research and development with the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology. Wonkang holds six patents, two domestic trademarks, and five international trademarks. It also has ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and CE certifications, demonstrating a quality management system that meets international standards.

Wonkang also participates in numerous international construction equipment exhibitions, including BAUMA and CONEXPO. In 2024, it was selected as an outstanding venture company and a member of Busan's Bright Club, a representative company of the city. Based on these achievements, Wonkang received the $2 million Export Tower Award in 2023 and the $3 million Export Tower Award in 2024. Furthermore, Wonkang is collaborating with its sister companies, Wonkang Superhard and Eugene Erection Development Industry Co., Ltd., to develop technology and strengthen its global market competitiveness.

In recent years, the global construction equipment industry has seen a growing trend of expanding overseas collaborations with companies with proven quality and technological prowess directly linked to export performance.
