Ninetech Discusses Collaboration on Global Data Center Projects and Cooling Technology

Ninetech announced on the 10th that it has established a strategic partnership with a company currently working on a global data infrastructure project, focusing on data center cooling technology, and is currently discussing the potential application of next-generation cooling solutions. This collaboration is noteworthy because it establishes a connection with a data center construction project that directly connects to the global big tech infrastructure ecosystem.

Recently, global big tech companies have been emphasizing power, cooling, and energy management technologies as core infrastructure elements in the construction of AI data centers. Data center cooling efficiency is directly linked to server density, power efficiency, and operational stability, and its importance is growing as a key element in next-generation data center design.

At CES 2026, Ninetech unveiled its Hybrid TEC Rack Cooling technology, utilizing thermoelectric modules (TEMs), demonstrating a cooling solution suitable for high-density AI server environments. Local cooling is considered a technology that can simultaneously increase power efficiency and operational stability by directly controlling heat at the server level.

The company is reportedly pursuing a next-generation data infrastructure model that combines high-performance computing nodes and energy infrastructure, and is exploring various global data center construction projects. Through this collaboration, Ninetech is exploring the possibility of moving beyond simple equipment technology collaboration to enter the system-level data center infrastructure market. The data center cooling sector encompasses not only individual equipment deliveries but also project-based design and long-term operational collaboration. Therefore, if the technology is successfully validated, it could lead to mid- to long-term business expansion.

A Ninetech official stated, “With the proliferation of AI data centers, the importance of cooling technology is growing,” and “We plan to continuously expand the scope of technology application through collaboration with global data center projects.”

In the data center industry, the application of local cooling and energy efficiency technologies to address the proliferation of AI servers is emerging as a key element of global project competitiveness.
