Light Anchor Secures Follow-Up Investment from Y Combinator

Light Anchor, a Silicon Valley-based data operations AI agent company, has successfully secured follow-up investment after being selected for a global startup accelerator program.

Light Anchor announced on the 10th that it had been selected for the 2026 Spring Batch (X26) of Y Combinator, a US startup accelerator. This is additional investment that followed approximately a month after receiving its first investment from Krew Capital and ASQ (A Square) in February.

Light Anchor is developing an AI agent solution that automates external data operations (EDO) tasks, such as product catalogs, invoices, and pricing information received from external partners. The core function is for AI to automatically collect, standardize, and verify product information, images, and pricing data provided by various suppliers in different formats.

Platform companies in finance, distribution, and travel continuously receive diverse data formats from numerous partners. In this process, inconsistent data formats often lead to errors, requiring significant human resources and time to organize and correct this data.

To address these issues, Light Anchor's AI agent is designed to go beyond simple data storage to perform data verification and follow-up tasks. It cross-checks information using various tools, including the web and browsers, and, when necessary, communicates with partner representatives to resolve errors. The verified data is then automatically reflected in actual business operations, such as product listing updates, price changes, and order placement.

Currently, Light Anchor is conducting product validation through design partnerships with global companies, including listed US financial companies, mid-sized distribution companies, and Sandbird. Through its participation in the Y Combinator program, the company plans to gradually enhance its data operation automation capabilities, including a "computer-assisted agent" that learns and automatically performs human tasks in a web browser environment, a "data analysis copilot" that provides natural language-based data analysis, and a "customer data AI agent" that monitors customer data input in real time.

Light Anchor plans to reduce inefficiencies arising from corporate data operations through advancements in AI technology and expand its data operation automation solutions in the global market.

In the global technology industry, the market for enterprise AI solutions that utilize AI agents to automate repetitive tasks and data management processes is rapidly growing.
