Ccubista Expands and Relocates Pangyo Technology Research Center to Strengthen Global R&D

CQVista Co., Ltd. (CEO Deokjo Jeon) announced on the 11th that it has expanded and relocated its technology research center to Pangyo Techno Valley to strengthen its research and development (R&D) capabilities in preparation for entering the global market.

SecVista, a company with proprietary network threat detection and response (NDR) technology, provides security solutions to public institutions, financial institutions, and government agencies both domestically and internationally. In particular, it was the first in the world to secure technology to detect the hidden backdoor "BPFDoor" at the network traffic level, and its technology supports the 14 attack tactics of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

With this lab expansion, Ccubista plans to advance its technology for global market expansion of its core solution, PacketCYBER, and strengthen its partnerships with related companies. Furthermore, the company will expand its dedicated research staff and deploy them on three key projects to advance its recently developed NDR detection engine-based security products.

The lab's top priorities include developing a global interface for BPFDoor and the NDR detection engine, including cutting-edge ransomware detection capabilities, and building an intuitive user experience for threat detection and response. Development of the next-generation solution, PacketCyber EVA, is also accelerating, with commercialization targeted for within the year. It is designed to enable real-time threat detection even in encrypted traffic.

To address the growing number of cyberattacks targeting IoT devices, Ccubista is also focusing on research and development of "IoT Cyber (IoTCYBER)." CEO Jeon Deok-jo stated that this expansion of the technology research center will serve as a strategic foundation for the company's growth into a global security company.

In the cybersecurity industry, competition to develop NDR solutions and IoT security technologies is rapidly expanding.
