Data tech company Inlife (CEO Kyung-Hoon Han) announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the beta test ahead of the official launch of 'i-GEO', an AI search optimization solution that responds to the generative AI search environment.
i-GEO is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)-based solution designed to increase the likelihood that specific brands or services will be cited or recommended when generative AI, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, generate answers to user queries. It was developed to address the shift in search methods from traditional portal-centric keyword searches to AI-driven recommendations.
This solution reportedly demonstrated through preliminary pilot testing that it increased brand citations within AI responses and improved search visibility. Furthermore, the related technology and strategy won an Outstanding Paper Award in the Seoul National University AMP program, demonstrating both academic value and practical applicability.
i-GEO operates through a five-step process: site citation likelihood analysis and scoring, GEO inflow tracking, site structure improvement, automatic content optimization, and AI citation dissemination channel operation. A key feature introduced is the ability to automatically generate and disseminate context-based content with a high likelihood of being cited in AI responses.
Another key feature is that after installing OneTag, most optimization tasks are automatically performed simply by entering a URL. Upon implementation, the solution provides a brand's AI search optimization status in the form of a "GEO score," and related analysis data can be visualized through a dedicated dashboard.
InLife is running a beta testing program for advertisers on its advertising platform, Mobion, ahead of its official launch. Participation is open to new advertisers who spend at least 3 million won on Mobion by March 31st. Selected companies will receive various benefits, including AI-generated content creation and AI search optimization analysis reports.
With the rapid spread of generative AI-based search services, AI search optimization technologies such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) are attracting attention as a new strategy in the digital marketing field.
