JEIO (CEO Kang Deuk-ju) is expanding its business from its existing plant and CNT-focused structure to include advanced materials and advanced materials equipment. This expansion will secure new growth engines and promote business diversification.
JEIO will participate in InterBattery 2026, held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from March 11th to 13th, to unveil its key advanced materials business strategies, including CNTs, LFP dispersants, graphene-based heat-dissipating materials, and advanced materials equipment. The company anticipates a recovery in its CNT business through customer and product portfolio diversification, and plans to expand its advanced materials business orders.
In January, JEIO applied for a trademark for JENODM, an LFP dispersant brand designed to improve LFP battery electrode performance. Furthermore, the graphene-based heat-dissipating material unveiled at the exhibition boasts a graphene-ceramic hybrid structure, offering high thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties. This makes it ideal for a variety of applications, including EV charging cables, battery modules, and automotive components.
Leveraging its experience in the plant business, JEIO will prioritize its advanced materials and equipment business. At this exhibition, it plans to showcase its equipment supply experience to global secondary battery and defense customers. A JEIO representative stated their goal: to expand into the advanced materials sector, building on their CNT business, and become a specialized company.
Recently, demand for advanced materials based on graphene and LFP has increased in the global electric vehicle and secondary battery industries, leading to continued expansion of related equipment and materials industries.
