Liner participates in the K-Moonshot promotion strategy.

Liner (CEO Jinwoo Kim) announced on the 12th that it will participate in the 'K-Moonshot Promotion Strategy', a national science and technology competitiveness enhancement project led by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT).

Liner attended the business agreement signing ceremony held at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul on the 11th and, as a leading company in the field of scientific AI agents, will participate in the project. This strategy aims to utilize AI to solve national scientific and technological challenges and integrate the capabilities of the private and public sectors to establish a mission-oriented research and development (R&D) system. Participating companies will play a role in identifying national scientific and technological challenges, supporting the use of AI models and data, sharing information between industry, academia, and research institutes, and disseminating research results to industry.

At the signing ceremony, Liner presented on the topic of "Verification of an AI-based Scientific Research Platform," introducing its scientific AI agent system and services with a global user base of 13 million. Furthermore, Liner emphasized its capabilities for immediate application in R&D settings based on proven AI technology, and announced its plans to contribute to enhancing the nation's scientific and technological competitiveness.

Liner's technological prowess has already been proven on the global academic stage. Last October, three papers utilizing Liner's research AI agent were accepted for "Agents4Science 2025," hosted by Stanford University, and a paper by a student at the Korea Science Academy was selected as one of the top 11 "Spotlight" papers.

Liner's core technology, "Liner Scholar," operates on over 460 million academic data records worldwide and provides a collaborative research system where researchers and AI interact in real-time. Users can upload both public data and personal research materials to collaborate with the AI. Furthermore, "Agentic Research" technology, which connects the entire research process from hypothesis development to feasibility study, can enhance research productivity.

“I feel a sense of responsibility to be participating in the K-Moonshot promotion strategy,” said Kim Jin-woo, CEO of Liner. “Through Liner’s agentic research technology, we will provide an environment where domestic researchers can focus on creative research and contribute to strengthening the nation’s scientific and technological competitiveness.”

In recent years, the science, technology, and AI industries have seen an expansion of AI agent technologies applicable in real-time to research sites, with increasing instances of simultaneously supporting research efficiency and creativity enhancement.
