Sky Labs Sponsors the American Heart Association Clinical Hypertension Researcher Award

Sky Labs announced on the 12th that it will sponsor the 'Established Investigator Awards for Clinical Hypertension' presented by the American Heart Association (AHA), a global cardiovascular disease research organization.

This sponsorship is the first global initiative based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Skylabs and the American Heart Association in September of last year, and the company plans to expand its international involvement in hypertension research and treatment through this.

From 2026 to 2028, Sky Labs will award three researchers who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in hypertension research. The goal is to strengthen its network with global key opinion leaders (KOLs) and build a next-generation blood pressure management ecosystem. Eligibility is limited to AHA Hypertension members, and the company will provide approximately $90,000 in funding, including the researcher's award and operating expenses.

Lee Byeong-hwan, CEO of Sky Labs, said, “This sponsorship is very meaningful as it allows us to contribute to the achievements of global hypertension research,” and added, “We will simultaneously strengthen our clinical research and R&D capabilities to improve the efficiency of blood pressure management.”

In the healthcare industry, the combination of wearable-based blood pressure management devices and clinical research sponsorship is on the rise, and personalized hypertension management solutions are gaining attention.
