Coversummon collaborates with IFM to unveil air-tech-based fashion pieces at Paris Fashion Week.

Lifestyle tech company CoverSermon announced on the 12th that it had collaborated with French fashion school IFM (Institut Français de la Mode) to present a work utilizing AirTech technology at the opening show of the 2026 F/W Paris Fashion Week held on the 2nd (local time).

This collaboration was sparked by an R&D meeting held at the fashion materials fair "Première Vision Paris" in Paris, France, last September. Coversummon's AirKit technology, which can be applied to a variety of designs, served as the foundation for the collaboration.

IFM, a leading French fashion education institution, maintains partnerships with global luxury brands such as LVMH and Kering, consistently producing talented individuals for the fashion industry. IFM's Master of Arts program is a multidisciplinary educational program encompassing design, humanities, technology, and sustainability. Each year, students showcase their work at Paris Fashion Week.

This year's Fashion Week showcased collections by 23 student designers. Drawing on French haute couture craftsmanship, the pieces explored diverse forms and textures, emphasizing experimental and creative design in cutting, draping, and decorative techniques.

In particular, designer Alexis Lopez Angeles presented pieces inspired by military style, incorporating Coversummer's Air Modules into jackets and dresses to emphasize three-dimensional volume. He also completed the collection with a unique form, utilizing a separately produced Air Module teddy bear object.

Lee Jae-ho, CEO of CoverSermon, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with IFM's young designers on the global stage of Paris Fashion Week. He added that CoverSermon will continue to leverage its proprietary technology to present new possibilities in the fashion industry.

Meanwhile, Coversummon operates the B2C lifestyle brand 'Keek' and the B2B smart textile material brand 'CVSM', and is expanding its scope of cooperation with global brands in Europe, North America, and Asia based on related technologies, and is pursuing entry into overseas markets.

In recent years, the fashion industry has seen a rise in tech-based fashion collaborations that combine functional materials and wearable technology, expanding the market for the convergence of fashion and technology.
