Korea Quantum Computing (CEO Kim Jun-young, hereinafter referred to as KQC) announced that it has obtained the international information security management system certification, ‘ISO/IEC 27001.’
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard in the field of information security management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). To obtain the certification, organizations must satisfy over 100 control items, including information security policy, risk assessment, access control, and encryption.
Through this certification, KQC has been verified to have an integrated management system in place according to international standards across its key business areas, including ▲AI-based technology and AI GPUaaS operation ▲quantum computing algorithm research ▲quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC) design and implementation ▲QxHSM and cryptographic key management infrastructure operation. This confirms the establishment of a "Security by Design" system that incorporates security into the design from the early stages of R&D.
With this certification, KQC has met the high security standards demanded by global customers and partners, securing a foundation of trust for expanding overseas transactions, strengthening global partnerships, and participating in national strategic projects. Kim Jun-young, CEO of KQC, stated, "We will continuously enhance our security standards through regular internal audits and management reviews, and based on the reliability of our quantum computing and AI infrastructure services, we will pursue global technological collaboration and business expansion."
In the quantum computing and security industries, companies that have secured international standard certification are expanding global collaboration opportunities based on technological reliability.
