Naver Cloud (CEO Kim Yu-won) announced on the 13th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AI software specialist Conan Technology (CEO Kim Young-seom) to collaborate on LLM and physical AI, specializing in the defense and manufacturing industries. This collaboration aims to develop AI models optimized for industrial domains requiring security and expertise, and to concretize plans for industrial field intelligence.
The two companies plan to support the AI transformation of key national industries by combining Naver Cloud's "full-stack AI" technology with Conan Technology's "agentic AI innovation" strategy. Going forward, they plan to jointly develop defense and manufacturing data and models, and implement industrial solutions that integrate LLM and physical AI technologies to achieve tangible digital transformation outcomes.
Additionally, we will conduct technical verification to ensure the stable operation of Conan Technology's AI solutions in Naver Cloud's advanced cloud infrastructure environment, and based on this, we will pursue joint business expansion.
Kim Yu-won, CEO of Naver Cloud, said, “Through this collaboration, we plan to apply LLM and physical AI-based AI models and solutions specialized in the defense and manufacturing industries to industrial sites,” and “We will build an AI ecosystem that can be used in actual fields by utilizing stable cloud infrastructure.”
