Ably Amud Expands into Japan Market… Strengthening One-Stop Global Sales Support for Small Business Owners

ABLY, a style commerce platform operated by ABLY Corporation (CEO Kang Seok-hoon), unveiled the results of its integrated global sales system on the 13th, which supports domestic small business owners in entering overseas markets. Through its Japanese service 'amood,' ABLY supports sellers in selling products in the Japanese market with a single click.

As of March this year, the number of marketplaces on Amoud reached 25,000, a 40% increase in about eight months from 18,000 in July last year. A notable feature is the entry of many small business owners and individual sellers utilizing 'Partners,' a startup support solution that handles the entire process—including product registration, purchasing, logistics, shipping, and customer service—simply by uploading photos.

Along with an increase in the number of marketplaces, export volume to Japan has also expanded. As of January this year, the number of SKUs for export to Japan increased by 20% and the number of repeat customers by 15% compared to the same period last year, demonstrating substantial growth. It is analyzed that the strengthening of logistics capabilities through the establishment of a new global fulfillment center in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, also contributed to the expansion of exports.

In line with the growing demand for K-fashion, Ably provides a one-stop global expansion service that utilizes its own infrastructure to support the entire process of overseas expansion—including local language translation, customs clearance, logistics, customer service, and marketing—simply by allowing sellers to click the 'Overseas Sales Integration' button on their dedicated seller page.

Generally, support for overseas expansion in the fashion industry is limited to brands of a certain size or larger, but Ably opens its infrastructure to enable anyone, even individual sellers without a business registration certificate or export experience, to sell overseas. By doing so, it supports the growth and expansion of sales channels for small business owners by connecting domestic e-commerce startups with overseas expansion.

Ably CEO Kang Seok-hoon stated, “The global expansion pipeline is contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of domestic small business owners and enhancing the international standing of K-fashion,” adding, “We will continue to improve our services to support more small business owners in entering overseas markets.”

Recently, as overseas sales support platforms targeting individual sellers and small business owners have expanded in the domestic e-commerce industry, K-fashion and small brands are gaining access to the global market.
