Simple Platform announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the AI-based national strategic project 'K-Moonshot' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The K-Moonshot Strategy is a policy project designed to significantly improve the efficiency and productivity of science and technology research and strengthen the nation's strategic technological competitiveness by leveraging AI. It aims to foster innovation in science and technology by incorporating AI technology throughout the R&D process.
Simple Platform will participate in this project as a strategic partner in the future energy sector, one of several initiatives underway. It plans to provide AI technology and an industrial AX platform for research into next-generation power technologies, including nuclear fusion and next-generation nuclear power plants, and collaborate on enhancing the research environment.
NUBISON, an industry-specific AX platform developed by Simple Platform, is an integrated platform that collects and manages diverse data generated in industrial settings and supports AI analysis and model operation. Based on an industry-specific data lake, it provides comprehensive support for key technologies required for AI utilization, including AIoT, MLOps, Kubernetes, and MCP.
The platform is currently being utilized in manufacturing industries such as semiconductors, as well as in the public and energy sectors, and is being applied to optimize industrial sites through data-driven operational efficiency and AI adoption.
Through this collaboration, Simple Platform plans to expand the AX platform, which has been primarily used in industrial settings, to the field of science and technology research, and strengthen the foundation for utilizing AI in solving future power issues and developing energy technology.
Meanwhile, as attempts to integrate AI technology into research and development and the energy industry increase, efforts to build a technological ecosystem through cooperation between the government and businesses are also expanding.
